FAQ

Many of these questions refer to on-site classes. If you have questions about individual classes, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Q. How can I learn more about the instructor who is teaching the class?

A. An instructor bio can be sent to you upon request. We can also arrange for the instructor to call you.

Q. What if I want the class customized?

A. If the class is an onsite, closed class specifically run for your organization, the instructor will call you to discuss content. If the changes you request are simply cutting and pasting existing material, then there is generally no charge.

If the class content needs to be created or requires a great deal of time and effort to learn in house procedures and/or standards, a revised cost estimate will be provided. Format and budget approval must be received before work can be started.

Q. What if I only have limited time for the class and can't spend several days outside of the office for the class?

A. If the class lends itself to being split up, we can often separate the class into one-day segments to be run over several separate days congruent with your schedule. Homework and exercises can be added to ensure the course content is not lost in between class days.

Q. Can a class be cut down to a half day session?

A. Absolutely, but be aware the instructor will still charge for a full day's work. It is often cost effective to run two sessions of the ½ day segment, or offer a second different ½ day class to make a full day.

Q. What if I like pieces of two different classes. Can I combine them?

A. Most definitely. However, some instructors do charge for combining materials since there is labor involved.

Q. How do we pay for classes if they aren't at our location?

A. We take all major credit cards except Discover. We will also accept P.O.'s and will invoice if necessary. Advance payment is not required to attend the class as long as the P.O. or credit card is in place.

Q. What happens if I attend a class and find out it's either too easy or too difficult?

A. If the class is not the correct fit, let us know by the first break and we will not charge you for the class.

Q. What if I don't see the exact class I'm looking for on the public schedule?

A. We can run a class on your site if there is a minimum of three students for desktop classes, and a minimum of six students for Professional Development or IT-related classes. The more people you have, the more cost effective it is.
